NPR does a cool thing called Project Song where they pick a musician who in turn picks another musician they have never worked with but would like to and then video records them over the span of the just two days they have to write and record it. Chris Walla (Death Cab) picked J Robbins (Jawbox) and the final outcome is quite a wonderful song called Mercury.
