March 29th, 2012: Cause & Effect : Annual French Music Show

My lovely friend and occasional DJ partner Sara Gossett are helping to kick off Richmond, Virginia's annual French Film Festival with our own annual French music radio event. From 7PM to 9PM this evening we will play nothing but French speaking music from our personal collections spanning 5 decades of styles, genres, and multiple countries.

For those of you who are familiar with me or my blog, you know how much I love French music so this new annual Cause & Effect tradition has quickly become my favorite show of the year.

The timing couldn't be any better as the television show Mad Men's season 5 opener has sparked an interest in vintage French Pop thanks to this little number being covered in a perfectly sexy, campy way by Don Draper's gorgeous second wife played by Jessica Paré.
